UV/VIS-Spectroskopy

With the UV/VIS spectroscopy the sample is analyzed by the use of electromagnetic radiation.

The method is based on the absorption of visible and ultraviolet light or the resulting excitation of valence electrons. The difference between incident and transmitted light is displayed in the transmission spectrum. By detecting the energy absorption conclusions can be made about the binding ratios of contained molecules.
